No Time to Spare
January 30, 2018
There are so many quotations I’d like to share from Ursula Le Guin’s book NO TIME TO SPARE: THINKING ABOUT WHAT MATTERS that I’ll just recommend that you read the whole thing. Le Guin’s style in the book is conversational, often humorous, sometimes (rarely) crotchety, always thoughtful (yes, about what matters). I feel throughout like I’m at a kitchen table with an old friend. An old very smart friend with an incisive intellect and a startling honesty. The kind of friend we all need, now more than ever. RIP Ursula Le Guin.
